A remotely operated vehicle or ROV can be a useful tool when a diver survey is impractical or unsafe. Weighing at just under 9 kgs the ROV is very portable and with it’s on board rechargeable batteries it can be deployed in a matter of minutes. All the video is recorded on the surface unit and a GoPro camera is mounted on the ROV for additional footage or photographs.
